Prices include toll road fees and site entrance fees, but exclude fees to optional visits, trips per boat, ferry, funicular, cable car, as well as items noted above for own expense. All meals and refreshments excluded.
The Peninsula and Cape of Good Hope
A breathtaking journey to the mythical meeting place of the Atlantic & Indian Oceans. Explore the full splendour and beauty of the Cape Peninsula and experience why Sir Francis Drake, called it “The fairest Cape on the circumference of the earth.” Circumnavigate Table Mountain along spectacular roads from the Atlantic seaboard to False Bay and back to the mother city. The route offers splendid photographic opportunities from the many viewpoints. The Cape Peninsula is one of the 6 floral kingdoms of the world and the only plant kingdom housed inside one border.

Table Mountain, City Tour and Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens
Note:
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket or a sweater; it can be chilly on the mountain .

• Leave for Table Mountain(weather permitting). Take the cable car to the summit . Walk along the top of Table Mountain and enjoy all round panoramic views of the Cape Peninsula, False Bay and Robben Island.
10h00
• Depart from Table Mountain for city orientation tour
• Orientation drive through Cape Town
• Buitengracht street, Bo-Kaap, Strand street, Castle of Good Hope, Grand Parade, City Hall, Adderley street (statue of Bartholomew Diaz)) ,Grey's Pass and Queen Victoria street
• Walking tour covering a selection from the following sites:
• St George’s Cathedral
• Houses of Parliament
• Government Avenue & Company Gardens
• Tuynhuys
• Green market square
Afternoon
• Depart for Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. (Optional lunch at the Silver Tree deli.) The gardens cover 528 hectares, of which 36 hectares is developed garden. It boasts in excess of 5,000 indigenous plants. Visit the Fynbos Garden, the Braille Trail, the Fragrance Garden, the Useful Plants Garden and the Water Wise Garden.

Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai
The price includes return transport from Cape Town, breakfast before going to sea, light lunch, snacks, fruit, soft drinks, mineral water and all the diving gear on the boat.
Our 12 m boat, Barracuda is the largest boat to launch from Kleinbaai harbour. She is also the most stable boat - something to consider if you are prone to sea sickness. You can enjoy a fantastic view of the action from the top deck or get close up and personal in our 5-man cage. She also has a huge deck space, large observation deck, toilet and changing area. She carries all the required safety equipment and complies with MCM and SAMSA regulations.

SHARK TRIP
(Please note that times are subject to change)
06h00 Pick up in Cape Town
08h00 Meet in Gansbaai for Breakfast and briefing.
08h30 Boat trip (+- 20 min) and anchoring in the Dyer Island area. Anchor site will be chosen, depending on the weather, sea conditions, season and previous shark sightings.
09h00 Start chumming.
10h30 White shark observation and cage diving. The time for the first shark to appear however cannot be forecasted, and varies from a few minutes to several hours. When a shark is spotted, the crew monitors its behavior. If the shark relaxes, then the cage and divers can be lowered into the water. Shark and weather conditions depending, our aim is to give our guests
the best possible viewing experience from both the boat and underwater from the cage. Snacks and drinks can be enjoyed on the boat throughout the whole trip.
13h00 Return to Kleinbaai harbor.
Return to crew house for coffee/tea and to watch the DVD of the trip.

Safari - Big Five at Aquila Game Reserve
Aquila private game reserve is just over 2 hours drive from Cape Town and boast a breathtakingly beautiful 4500 hectare Karoo conservancy. The reserve is malaria free.
Aquila is very proud to have reintroduced lion, rhino, buffalo, Cape mountain leopard and elephant ( the Big 5) to the reserve. It is home to giraffe, hippo, and large herds of black wildebeest, burchell's zebra, springbok, gemsbok, eland, red hartebeest, steenbok, blesbok, ostriches, klipspringer, duiker, greybuck, baboon, black backed jackal, caracal and the bat eared fox. Aquila is also home to a wide array of bird species.
DAY SAFARI – Highlights

- Travel via the wine region and Klein Karoo.
- Welcome drinks on arrival.
- Sumptuous buffet breakfast
- 2 – 3 hours game drive in open-air 4x4 vehicle with experienced game rangers
- Drinks will be served at lookout points.

Hermanus Whale Watching
08h45
• Departure from accommodation
• Drive past Somerset West and through the coastal town Gordon’s Bay. Follow the beautiful Clarence Drive coastal route along the Eastern shores of False Bay.
• Visit Harold Potter Botanical Gardens in Betty’s Bay(time for coffee!) Take a walk up to the waterfall.
12h30 Arrive in Hermanus
Lunch
• Lunch at any of the local seafood restaurants in Hermanus.
• Ideal spot for whale watching in season (July – November) while sipping a cappuccino/glass of wine/beer
• Time for browsing at the flea market & other shops
Afternoon
• Visit Hemel en Aarde craft centre near Hermanus.
• Travel towards Grabouw.
• Visit a farm stall where you may purchase all kinds of preserves, jams, etc.
• Return via Sir Lowry's pass with scenic views of the Cape Peninsula
Return
• Return to Cape Town at approximately 18h00.

Fauna, Vino and Flora Tour
08h30
• Departure from accommodation
• Travel along the Atlantic seaboard to Hout Bay Harbour.
• Embark on the Circe for a 40-minute boat trip to Seal Island(R40pp). The boat has a glass bottom that enables observation of underwater marine life.
• Visit World of Birds in Hout Bay. Walk through the largest bird park in Africa. Over 3,000 birds, monkeys and small animals of 400 different species in walk-through enclosures. Be sure you have enough film/memory to capture the birds!
Noon
• Visit nearby Groot Constantia Wine Estate for wine tasting, lunch and a tour of the estate.
• Lunch at Jonkershuis on the Constantia Estate is optional. It offers traditional Cape Malay fare .Alternatively you could enjoy lunch at the deli at Kirstenbosch.
Afternoon
• Depart for Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The gardens cover 528 hectares, of which 36 hectares is developed garden. It boasts in excess of 5,000 indigenous plants. Visit the Fynbos Garden, the Braille Trail, the Fragrance Garden, the Useful Plants Garden and the Water Wise Garden.
• Stop at Rhodes Memorial for magnificent view of the Cape Peninsula.

• Return by approximately 17h00.
